How are we going to do this?

The IMPACT Study is divided into 5 Workstreams; the first 4 Workstreams  (Phase 1) will answer specific research questions which will be used to develop care and training packages in Workstream 5 (Phase 2).

The major objectives of The IMPACT Study are to:

• develop a General Practice (GP) based intervention to improve self-care and coping for people with psoriasis.• devise training for GP staff to improve access to targeted services for people with psoriasis.

We hope that the intervention developed will become a model of service provision that can be adapted easily to support effective self-care for individuals with other long-term conditions.
